What does a blueberry pie have to do with breast cancer? π«π₯§ More than you might think. If you want to understand how blueberries are distributed throughout a pie, looking at a single slice won't tell you the full story. The same applies to HER2 assessment in breast cancer biopsies. Tumors can be highly heterogeneous, and analyzing only a few histopathological sections may not capture the complete picture. At HistoSight, we are developing a technology that enables analysis of the entire biopsy in 3D, helping to reveal spatial HER2 heterogeneity and potentially support more informed treatment decisions. This blueberry pie analogy was at the heart of our final pitch during the U Incubator program (formerly XPLORE Venture Creator). I'm excited to share that Team HistoSight won the Computational Medicine & Bio-Intelligence Systems cluster final. π A big thank you to the U Incubator team, mentors, coaches, jury members, and fellow founders for an inspiring experience and valuable feedback throughout the program. Now it's time to keep building. #HistoSight #UIncubator #DeepTech #MedTech #3DHistopathology #BreastCancer #HER2 #Startup #Innovation
