Executive Director

Thank you Russell. For 21 years of being involved in Old Tucson, both as the GM and the County liaison, I’ve seen millions of guests, many from Europe, enjoy our western culture in Tucson magnetically protrayed at Old Tucson and White Stallion. I certainly had my hopes a western heritage company, with a passion of the railroads, would lead the next chapter of Old Tucson. Unfortunately that does not appear to be the future. Your passion and the many other heritage based attractions as part of the Southern Arizona Attractions Alliance, share your passion for Old Tucson to remain open as the County searches for the strategy to continue Old Tucson’s operation. With tourism going through its own struggles, having a major tourism attraction closed during our 2026-2027 season is going to challenge our much needed visitation and momentum of Visit Tucson’s new branding initiative’s. We stand ready to assist the County in whatever capacity they would welcome the knowledge of over 130 members and hundreds of passionate employees promoting Tucson. Tom Moulton, Executive Director - SAAA, former Old Tucson Studios GM, and former Pima County Director of Attractions and Tourism.
