One of the first international homes I studied in architecture school was Villa Savoye in Poissy, France, designed by the legendary architect Le Corbusier. Villa Savoye is a defining work of modern architecture and a masterful expression of Le Corbusier's celebrated Five Points of Architecture. Recognized worldwide as one of the purest examples of the International Style, the home continues to influence generations of architects through its clarity of form, innovation, and timeless design principles. At Politi Architecture, one of our design methods is to study architectural precedents as part of our creative process. Understanding the intent behind iconic works allows us to reinterpret enduring ideas through the lens of contemporary design, technology, and craftsmanship. As a recent design experiment, we revisited Villa Savoye as it appeared in 1930 and explored how it might be reimagined using today's technology, visualization tools, and the design philosophy of Politi Architecture. Leveraging AI as a conceptual design tool, the image below represents the first iteration of that exploration. This exercise is not intended to redefine an architectural masterpiece, but to demonstrate how emerging technologies can help architects study, visualize, and expand upon the ideas that continue to shape our profession. #architecture #modernarchitecture #lecorbusier #villasavoye #internationalstyle #aiarchitecture #architecturalvisualization #designinnovation #architecturestudio #politiarchitecture
