Better late than never – last summer, I graduated from the Hertie School with a Master’s degree in International Affairs 🎓 I’m very grateful to have been part of this program, not only because of the insights gained through lectures and seminars 📚, but also because of the friendships made along the way 🤝. Highlights included my Professional Year at the Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales 💼 and the exchange semester at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington D.C., where I immersed myself in US college culture 🏛️ and experienced a presidential election firsthand 🗳️. The transition from university to the professional world was more of a winding path than a straight line 🛣️, but I’m deeply thankful for the support I received over the past months – from family and friends, as well as peers, mentors, and former colleagues 👥. I’m now excited to share that I joined Serviceplan Group's Public Affairs team in Berlin 🏙️. In my new role, I consult our clients on the latest legislative developments in Berlin and Brussels, including in the fields of energy ⚡, climate and environmental protection 🌱, digitization 💻, and defence and security 🛡️. Working at the House of Communication (HoC) 🏠💡 is particularly inspiring – a creative hub where experts from marketing, communication, and public affairs collaborate closely. By bringing different disciplines and perspectives to one table 🤝, we help clients of all sizes develop the right political and legislative strategies 🎯. I’m especially looking forward to the exciting events at the HoC 🎤, where stakeholders from politics and business will come together for open dialogue and meaningful exchange 💬🚀.
