Mein Besuch bei Primetals Technologies in Linz hat mir wieder gezeigt, wie wichtig dieses Unternehmen für unsere Stadt und die gesamte Region ist. 🏭   Primetals ist nicht nur ein wichtiger Arbeitgeber in unserer Region, sondern auch ein Technologieführer, der mit seinen Lösungen für die Metallindustrie weltweit Maßstäbe setzt. Die Kombination aus langjähriger Expertise, innovativer Forschung und dem Engagement der Mitarbeiter*innen macht dieses Unternehmen zu einem echten Aushängeschild für Linz.   Besonders spannend war für mich der Austausch über zukunftsweisende Projekte und die Rolle, die Primetals bei der nachhaltigen Transformation der Industrie spielt. Es ist großartig, wie Primetals die Elektrifizierung der Industrie vorantreibt. Beeindruckend war auch der Besuch im Central Operation Cockpit Showroom. Dort konnte ich hautnah erleben, wie der Operator einer Anlage in einem Stahlwerk von modernster Software auf kritische Situationen hingewiesen wird, wie digitale Assistenten auf Basis künstlicher Intelligenz in Echtzeit über den Produktionsstatus informieren und wie das System unmittelbar konkrete Maßnahmen vorschlägt. Ein absolutes Must-Have für Stahlwerke der Zukunft!   Unternehmen wie Primetals braucht unsere Stadt – und ich bin stolz, sie hier zu haben. 💪   An dieser Stelle möchte ich mich herzlich bei CFO Michael Kienberger, CTO Dr. Alexander Fleischanderl und Christoph Stangl für den spannenden Austausch bedanken!   📸 Primetals Technologies —- My visit to Primetals Technologies in Linz reminded me once again how important this company is for our city and the entire region. 🏭 Primetals is not only a major employer in our region, but also a technology leader that sets global standards with its solutions for the metal industry. The combination of long-standing expertise, innovative research, and the dedication of its employees makes this company a true flagship for Linz. I found the discussion about forward-looking projects and the role Primetals plays in the sustainable transformation of the industry particularly exciting. It’s great to see how Primetals is driving the electrification of the industry. The visit to the Central Operation Cockpit Showroom was also impressive. There, I was able to experience firsthand how an operator at a steel mill is alerted to critical situations by state-of-the-art software, how digital assistants based on artificial intelligence provide real-time updates on production status, and how the system immediately suggests concrete measures. An absolute must-have for steel mills of the future!
