Nothing normal ever changed a damn thing!
🧠Germany does not have a knowledge problem. Germany has a translation problem. 📢🧠 Every day, outstanding research results emerge from our universities and research institutions. New technologies. New discoveries. New opportunities to create economic and societal impact. Yet too many of these ideas never leave the lab. Not because the science is not good enough. But because the path from research to innovation is still too complicated, too fragmented and too slow. Bureaucratic hurdles, limited access to entrepreneurial talent, insufficient early-stage capital and a lack of coordinated support continue to prevent promising technologies from reaching the market. Over the past years, many excellent initiatives have emerged to address individual challenges. But if we want Germany to become a leading #DeepTech nation, we need more than isolated solutions. We need a common vision. We need aligned ecosystems. And we need a strong political commitment to entrepreneurship, innovation and technology transfer. That is why I support and signed the new “Gründerzeit” initiative of the Startup-Verband. Because the future competitiveness of Germany will not be determined by how much knowledge we generate — but by how effectively we transform knowledge into innovation, startups, jobs and growth.
