What does a strong MQL to SQL process actually look like in practice? From what we see, the strongest-performing teams usually have a few things in common. Not necessarily more leads, but more structure around what happens after the lead is generated. For example: ◼️ every MQL is followed up consistently ◼️ early conversations happen before sales involvement ◼️ leads are categorised clearly ◼️marketing and sales visibility is aligned ◼️follow-up doesn’t stop after one or two attempts Because many leads still need further conversation before anyone can properly understand whether there is real opportunity potential behind the initial engagement.
