Stop asking for a raise. Start stating your value. Don't ask for a favor, be accurate about your impact. Facts don't have feelings, and they’re harder to say "no" to. Shift your script: Don't say: "I was hoping for an increase." Do say: "Based on my $2M revenue impact and market benchmarks, my compensation should be [ insert your number]."
