Pentagon just cleared all 8 Apache pilots who gave America the ultimate July 4th show!!! Four AH-64 Apache helicopters from the South Carolina Army National Guard’s Alpha Company, 1-151st Attack Battalion flew low along the entire South Carolina coast during the annual Salute from the Shore on July 4. Crowds packed beaches from Cherry Grove to Beaufort as the attack helicopters roared past, people waving giant American flags and cheering from the water. Videos of the low formation went viral immediately. Days later the National Guard temporarily suspended all eight pilots from flight duties pending a review of the flight profile for possible safety issues. The pilots remained on non-flying duties while the investigation continued. Politicians including Rep. Russell Fry and State Rep. Tim McGinnis called the suspensions ridiculous and demanded the pilots be restored to flight status right away. Now the Pentagon has lifted every suspension. Carry on, patriots. This is what America First leadership looks like. Our warriors deliver a patriotic spectacle that thrills the people they protect, then get their wings back instead of endless bureaucratic punishment. Support the troops who actually love this country. Demand more displays of American strength and zero tolerance for punishing heroes who make the Fourth of July unforgettable. #AmericaFirst #SupportOurTroops
