Every young person deserves the chance to build their skills and reach their potential. Skills and Tertiary Education Minister Ben Macpherson met Alan Milburn this week to discuss the challenges detailed in his independent review into young people not in education, employment or training across the UK. This year we have: · increased the college budget by 10% · maintained our commitment to free tuition · supported tens of thousands of apprenticeship new starts We will consider Alan Milburn’s work and any further action that may be required to improve support for young people.
