We recently celebrated an investment to enhance our manufacturing site in Wuppertal, Germany, increasing production capacity for specialized membrane technologies used in ECMO and heart-lung bypass systems. These technologies help support patients when their hearts or lungs need critical assistance, enabling medical devices to add oxygen to the blood and remove carbon dioxide outside the body during life-saving therapies. As demand for these therapies continues to grow, expanding capacity in Wuppertal helps strengthen the global supply of these critical components and supports healthcare providers caring for patients around the world. This milestone builds on more than 100 years of manufacturing expertise at the site and reflects the dedication of the colleagues whose work helps make these technologies available to customers worldwide. We were honored to celebrate alongside Parliamentary State Secretary Gitta Connemann, Mayor Miriam Scherff, our colleagues, and community partners who joined us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Together, we are helping ensure that critical care technologies are available for the patients and healthcare teams who depend on them every day.
