RSA is crowded, loud, and full of forgettable meetings. Let’s not have one of those. Here are 5 reasons for us to lock horns at RSA: 1. We’ve met before. I’ve been in this industry just shy of 15 years, and events like RSA are still one of the best ways to reconnect with good people. If we’ve crossed paths somewhere along the line and you miss my pithy witticisms and regional accent, I probably miss you too. 2. You enjoy the circus . I don’t howl at the moon quite as loudly or as often as I did in my youth, but I still bring an unreasonable amount of energy, dance moves, karaoke skills, and a suspiciously large number of the "right" party invitations. 3. You want the efficient version of RSA. If your ideal RSA meeting is a mid-morning coffee and a pleasant walk away from the chaos, that works for me too. 4. We haven’t met yet. If you’re reading this and thinking, “Wait, who is this guy? I like the cut of his jib. How come I don’t know him?” Let’s fix that. 5. Security data pipelines are top of mind. All joking aside, this is the real one. Most SOC performance conversations focus on tools. The better conversation is usually about the data underneath them. If you’re trying to: ✅ reduce tool sprawl ✅ clean up messy telemetry ✅ improve detection fidelity ✅ speed up analyst workflows ✅ make security data more usable across teams ✅ reduce pipeline complexity 💲 control costs We should compare notes. If you’ll be at RSA and want to talk security data pipelines, SOC efficiency, or just escape the chaos for 15 minutes, Hit me up. Bonus: If you’ve heard the rumors about the super secret vendor vs. vendor underground fight club… you didn’t hear it from me but DM me for the address.
