We are proud to announce the 2026 cohort of The Gotham EDU Film & Media Career Development Program, The Gotham’s eight-week virtual program that enables students from across the country to learn from industry professionals through mentorship, curated sessions, and pitch feedback. The expanded 2026 curriculum will deliver open conversations and workshops that allow students to make informed and strategic decisions as they complete their academic studies. Students are selected into one of six focused tracks: Sidney Poitier Initiative Track for Multi-Hyphenates, Executive Leadership and Ambassador Track, Television/Episodic Creator Track, Documentary Filmmaker Track, Narrative Filmmaker Track, and Entrepreneurship in Media Track. Previous industry speakers include professionals from Netflix, MGM, MACRO, UTA, ColorCreative, NBCU, Blumhouse, NEON, SFFILM, Kinema, and WILLA, as well as independent producers, television writers, and directors.
