The terminal in Kฤ ty Wrocลawskie has been expanded with new rail access and can now handle trains up to 740 metres. A second terminal is under construction in Mietkรณw, with modern rail, handling and digital infrastructure. Both projects receive public funding โ the Kฤ ty Wrocลawskie expansion through the EU's CEF programme, the Mietkรณw terminal through Poland's National Recovery and Resilience Plan. What makes this relevant beyond the region is the connection to the wider European network. Terminals like these link Central Europe to hubs further west, including the Port of Moerdijk, where Combined Cargo Terminals B.V. handles intermodal flows. Strengthening capacity on one end of a corridor only pays off when the terminals at the other end can match it โ which is exactly what makes investments like these worth following. For cargo owners looking for reliable rail alternatives, terminal capacity and quality of infrastructure across the full corridor are often the deciding factor. #RailFreight #IntermodalTransport #TEN_T #CEF #Poland #LogisticsInfrastructure #RailFreightTheFutureIsOurs Schavemaker Wrocลaw Schavemaker Logistics Solutions Rico Schavemaker Susanne Dirksen Peter van Veelen Luc Smits Tim Smits Andrรฉ Mast Kyra Lemmens Rail Cargo information Netherlands
