Job Title: Road Engineer Department: Agriculture Location: Benin, Edo State. We are seeking a competent Road Engineer to plan, design, construct, and maintain plantation road networks to ensure efficient transportation of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), inputs, and personnel. The role focuses on delivering durable, all-weather roads suitable for heavy-duty vehicles while ensuring cost efficiency and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities: Design and upgrade plantation roads, field roads, bridges, and drainage systems Supervise road construction, grading, and maintenance works Conduct soil assessments and recommend suitable materials Manage maintenance budgets, BOQs, and contractor performance Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil/Highway Engineering Must have at least 5 years prior experience in rural or plantation road construction Knowledge of laterite/gravel roads and tropical soil conditions Proficiency in AutoCAD or basic road design tools Willingness to work in remote plantation locations Interested/qualified candidates should apply via below link:  https://lnkd.in/dy-8amU5
