Job Title: Financial Controller (Agribusiness/Manufacturing) Location: Benin/Sapele Road, Edo State Industry: Agro-Allied / Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: Our client, a leading, integrated agribusiness and manufacturing group in West Africa is seeking a high calibre Financial Controller to lead its financial accounting and reporting function. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and IFRS-compliant financial reporting, while strengthening internal controls, governance, and audit readiness in a Big-4 standard environment. The successful candidate will own the consolidation of group accounts and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial information to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Manage group consolidation, eliminations, and financial reporting (P&L, BS, Cash Flow) Deliver variance analysis and management insights Oversee general ledger, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet integrity Ensure IFRS compliance and strong internal controls (ICFR, COSO) Lead external audits and ensure audit readiness Drive ERP and reporting process improvements Lead and develop the finance team Key Requirements; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance ACA or ACCA (mandatory) 10–15 years’ experience in financial reporting & accounting Strong group consolidation experience (essential) Big-4 experience (preferred) Deep knowledge of IFRS and financial controls Experience with ERP systems Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Qualified/Interested candidates should forward CV to '[email protected]' using title as the subject of the email.
