💡 Designing youth employment and skills policies that strengthen post-18 pathways This #YouthEmploymentWeek, we're sharing data on employment patterns among 18–24-year-olds in the Greater West of England (Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire). The data show divergence across the region. Some areas see strong labour market absorption, while others have a higher proportion of young people in full-time study. These differences underline the importance of understanding local education access and labour markets when designing effective policy, helping to build a future where every young person in the region can thrive.
