The Employment Bar Association have partnered with the Young Bar Association to present an open to all symposium on Friday 19 June.  At this event six members from years 1-7 will present papers on employment law that were prepared under the mentorship of a senior colleague.   Speakers include: Thea Kennedy BL - The Right to Request Remote/Hybrid Working. Emerging Caselaw and Future Possible Trends.   Aengus Ó Maoláin BL - Sham Self Employment Cases Post Karshan. This will include a focus on the interesting High Court case of Ryanair DAD v Reddy & Ors [2024] IEHC719.   Ellen Walsh BL - Shield or sword?
