A leadership change is coming to one of Worcester's largest employers. The The Hanover Insurance Group announced that President and CEO Jack Roche will retire at the end of 2026 after a 40-year insurance career. Longtime executive Richard Lavey, a Holy Cross graduate and the company's current chief operating officer, has been named CEO-elect.
