Congrats to UT San Antonio students Manahel Fatima, Ellison Morgan, Redentor Perez and Giliane Yza Muyna, who are spending the summer in the Pitt Public Health Undergraduate Scholars Program. These incredible students were selected as 2026 John R. Lewis Undergraduate Public Health Scholars by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This competitive national scholarship is awarded to undergrads and recent grads with an interest in public health, health equity or minority health. For eight weeks, our Roadrunners will take part in classroom and community learning experiences. They'll also attend the 2026 American Public Health Association Annual Meeting later this year.
