Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) and Intersect have started construction of the Meitner Energy Center in Gray and Roberts counties, Texas, where a new Google data centre will be built alongside new energy generation. The data centre will join Google’s global infrastructure network, which supports services including Search, Gmail, Maps, Google Cloud, online banking, and emergency systems.
