While Tropical Storm Arthur may have JUST weakened in Louisiana, the impacts are just beginning. Heavy rainfall, flash flooding, storm damage, and infrastructure disruptions continue to affect communities across Louisiana and the Gulf South. Today, Governor Jeff Landry declared a State of Emergency for six Louisiana parishes as damage assessments and recovery efforts get underway. At the Sulzer Group, our team is already working alongside clients to assess damages, document impacts, identify eligible funding sources, and prepare for what comes next. Recovery begins long before federal funding arrives. The organizations that are most successful are the ones that act early, document thoroughly, and understand the complex requirements associated with FEMA Public Assistance, Hazard Mitigation, and other state and federal recovery programs. Recent FEMA announcements have included more than $1.1 billion in Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation funding nationwide, highlighting the significant resources available to eligible organizations following disasters. Is your organization ready? Whether you are a municipality, healthcare provider, educational institution, utility, faith-based organization, or nonprofit, the Sulzer Group can help navigate the recovery process from initial damage assessments through grant management and reimbursement. Preparation. Response.
