🌍 Techtextile 2026 – Insights & Exchange on the Future of Functional Textiles Our colleagues Elisabeth Clamer, Farshid Farrokhzad and Jacob Sag, represented Evonik’s VISIOMER® Specialty Methacrylates at the international Techtextile exhibition in Frankfurt. The many valuable discussions with binder and dispersion manufacturers for the textile industry clearly highlighted three key focus areas: 🔹 Flame retardancy 🔹 PFAS replacement 🔹 Improved recyclability They had particularly insightful conversations around innovative solution approaches: ✅ Transparent flame retardancy can be achieved using VISIOMER® HEMA-P-based dispersions in combination with APP (ammonium polyphosphate).
