📣 At the Netherlands Cancer Institute we are looking for a Junior Group Leader in Early Cancer Detection: an innovative scientist ready to build an independent research group and bring new ideas to one of our key research themes. We welcome applications from researchers working on topics such as risk-based screening, AI and machine learning, biomarker discovery and validation, multimodal risk prediction, premalignant lesions, early intervention strategies, and implementation science. At the NKI, junior group leaders have full scientific independence and access to an open, collaborative and international research environment. You will benefit from excellent infrastructure, patient data and materials, molecular pathology support, data desks, and expertise in trial design, data management and analysis. The position includes a 5-year appointment, a strong support package and relocation support for moving to the Netherlands.
