A reactor is not a construction project. It is an industry for generations. That was the biggest takeaway our consultant Dima V. Nechyporenko brought back from the Nuclear Economic Meetings (Hauts-de-France x Poland) at the French Embassy in Warsaw. The numbers reframe the whole conversation: → 250,000 jobs in the French nuclear industry → 57 reactors in operation (63 GWe) → 2,200+ companies across the value chain France did not just buy nuclear technology. It owns the entire value chain, from engineering to fuel cycle, and that is what turns energy into sovereignty. As the global nuclear renaissance accelerates, national programmes are opening their supply chains through binding local-content rules. Poland's PPEJ sets 40 to 50 percent. That is a concrete opening for small and mid-sized companies, and the window opens long before the first tenders are announced.
