Defense to cross-examine NBI agent in impeachment trial The impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte resumed today with the cross-examination of NBI agent John Mark Calilung. Testifying for the prosecution, Calilung authenticated the video of the press conference of Vice President Duterte last November 2024. The video is part of the evidence to support the allegation that Duterte made grave threats against the country’s top officials. Prosecution spokesman Jay Tolosa said they are expecting the defense to test the credibility of Calilung during the cross-examination.
