"Home is healing." Our CEO Victoria Parker recently joined an esteemed panel at the Australians Investing In Women event to discuss what it truly means to close the gender gap in housing. Alongside Dr Katrina (Kate) Raynor (Per Capita Australia), Peter Walton (Greater Melbourne Foundation) and Laurie Berrange (Conscious Investment Management), the conversation centred on Insight to Action: Closing the Gender Gap in Housing — A Roadmap for Change, a national framework shaped by collaboration and lived experience. Victoria spoke about The Lady Musgrave Trust's work developing purpose-built housing for young women and children experiencing homelessness, and how the Logan demonstration site has become a blueprint for what's possible when the sector works together. "I'm really excited to share that the way we've done that is with the right support. We have a funding ecosystem that includes philanthropy, corporates, government, and community," she said, "all working together to deliver suitable, appropriate and beautifully designed housing." Thank you to Australians Investing In Women for inviting Victoria to contribute to the conversation. #TheLadyMusgraveTrust #InsightsToAction
