In Yugambeh language, Jinndii Waijung means 'Mother's Nest'. And that's exactly what it is. A shared vision brought to life as four beautiful, secure units in Logan, purpose-built for young mothers and their children escaping homelessness and domestic violence, with shared learning spaces and on-site support. To this day, Jinndii Waijung is full of life. Women are rebuilding and children are thriving, because a safe, stable home changes everything. This is what happens when an industry comes together. Builders, architects, government, charities, and the young parents whose voices shaped every design decision, all focused on one common goal. We’re deeply grateful to our partners Queensland Government, Property Industry Foundation, McNab, Churches of Christ in Queensland, YFS Ltd, James Hardie, Blight Rayner Architecture, and many other incredible suppliers and supporters for helping bring Jinndii Waijung to life.
