Philanthropists, business and community leaders, grantee partners, and friends of The Ireland Funds gathered in Dublin to mark an extraordinary milestone: our Worldwide Conference celebrating fifty years of impact while looking ahead to the next fifty years of possibility. Over three days, we reflected on the vision of our founders, Dan Rooney and Tony O'Reilly, and the extraordinary community that has grown around it. The Ireland Funds has been built on the generosity of our supporters and the creativity and determination of our grantees. Bringing both together throughout the Conference was a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when philanthropy and purpose work hand in hand. Through inspiring conversations with numerous projects supported by The Ireland Funds, and performances from talented artists and musicians, we saw first-hand the difference that philanthropy can make in people's lives and communities. But while the conference celebrated our past, it was also firmly focused on the future. We were proud to launch A Further Shore, The Ireland Funds' most ambitious campaign to date, to raise $200 million to support communities across the island of Ireland. We also announced a renewed €20 million commitment to Music Generation Ireland in partnership with U2 and the Government of Ireland, ensuring thousands more young people can access the transformative power of music education. As Taoiseach Micheál Martin TD reflected, The Ireland Funds has been "there every step of the way" in Ireland's transformation over the past fifty years. Looking ahead, our ambition remains as strong as ever. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Dublin to celebrate this milestone and help shape what comes next. Fifty and Forward. The next fifty begins now. See more here: https://lnkd.in/d82Nzfsw
