On the same day Jayden Nelson was named to Canada's roster for the FIFA World Cup, he made a special stop at SickKids to visit with patients and families. A childhood cancer survivor, Jayden spent time at SickKids as a toddler, where kicking a soccer ball down hospital hallways became part of his early recovery. Returning on Tuesday was a full-circle moment for the athlete, who played trivia with patients and families and held a special meet-and-greet, posing for photos and signing autographs. SickKids is proud to be part of Jayden’s story and we’ll be cheering him on as he represents Canada on the world stage. 🇨🇦💙⚽
