Meet 14-year-old Elvis, deputy chair of his school’s Health Club in Kisumu County, Kenya.    With children under 5 accounting for more than 75% of malaria deaths in the region, prevention, early action and community-led efforts against the disease are critical.    Through skits, poems and songs, Elvis and other Health Club members share messages that resonate with their peers. They also come together to drain the stagnant water around the school and cut the long grass to help reduce mosquito breeding sites.    Despite the challenges posed by extreme weather, funding gaps and mosquitoes in new areas, these young leaders remain determined to build a safer and #HealthierFuture for all, free from malaria.     https://lnkd.in/gMA4EtRj
