☀️California dreaming - On track for transatlantic rail innovation! 🚆 Last week 16 companies from the German rail supply industry explored new partnerships and opportunities in California & Utah during a business delegation trip within the market development program Markterschließungsprogramm (MEP) from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy organized and accompanied by COMMIT Project Partners GmbH & GACC WEST – Representative of German Business and supported by #VDB as a specialist partner. 💡 California's Net-Zero Rail Strategy as well as the up-coming Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028 drive the expansion and modernization of the local rail network and rolling stock fleets. The delegation got the opportunity to meet relevant local stakeholders and present #rail solutions in a Transatlantic Railway Symposium: 📍 Los Angeles: Thank you to Los Angeles Metro, Pacific Harbor Line, Inc., DB E.C.O. North America and Kinkisharyo International for fruitful exchanges and insightful workshop visits. 📍 San Francisco & Sacramento: California sets out to further develop its light, commuter and high speed rail transportation.
