Australian robotics founder just closed pre-seed funding to help prevent 12,000 fires per year. Oscorp Energy raised A$1.3M from AI Venture Builder (AIVB) to deploy AI vision systems that detect dangerous lithium batteries in waste streams before they ignite. Ani Goswami, an Founder Institute (Australia & New Zealand) graduate, is tackling one of the most urgent and dangerous problems in recycling: hazardous materials are still being sorted by hand while facilities continue to face fire risks.
