As part of Volunteers’ Week, we are celebrating the impact volunteering has on the actuarial profession and the members who step forward to get involved. Jyotsna Kaushik talks about the power of volunteering and how it has shaped her professional journey, strengthening her identity as an actuary and expanding her network, developing her leadership and communication skills, and enabling her to support others across the profession. Volunteering helps advance actuarial science, supports the next generation and creates meaningful connections across practice areas, career stages and backgrounds.
