A lot of meetings are carrying work that should have been done before the invite was sent. Usually the issue is not that people are unhelpful. It is that the decision is still vague, ownership is still blurred, or the real conversation should have started async. So the meeting becomes a holding pen for unfinished thinking. That is where teams lose time. More people get pulled in. The call gets heavier than it needs to be. The decision gets softer, not clearer. A week later, the same issue comes back round again. You see it in slower approvals, repeated conversations, and next steps that nobody really owns. That is not a calendar problem. It is a decision clarity problem. A useful check before sending the invite: What is the decision? Who owns it? What input is genuinely needed live? What can be handled async first? If nobody can name the decision in one line, the meeting is probably too early. Or unnecessary. This carousel is on that gap. Cleaner calls. Clearer ownership. Less drift. theexecmemo.co.uk #DecisionMaking #Leadership #B2BSaaS
