𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆.✨ Yesterday’s Book Club brought together people from right across the industry to have an honest conversation about culture, allyship, flexibility and what it really takes to create a better industry. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their experiences, listened to one another and contributed so openly to the conversation. And a special thank you to Faye Allen for joining us. It was a privilege to hear the story behind 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯, explore the research that shaped it, and discuss what we can all do to make a difference. One of my favourite moments was something Faye said right at the end: “𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼.” That simple sentence perfectly captured what 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 is all about.
