🤖 Київстар and VEON Explore Sovereign AI Data Centre for Ukraine Kyivstar and parent company VEON have signed an MoU with Ukraine's Ministry of Economy to explore building a sovereign, AI-ready data centre, announced at the 2026 Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk. The proposed facility aims to support secure, in-country data processing for public services, financial services, defence technology, and research. Oleksii Sobolev, CFA, Oleksandr Komarov, and Kaan Terzioglu highlighted the project's role in strengthening Ukraine's digital resilience and advancing AI infrastructure.
