In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary this summer, we’re honoring the flavors—and the stories—made here. Ranch isn’t just a flavor, it’s a part of America’s food culture. Hidden Valley Ranch was invented in 1954 at a ranch outside Santa Barbara, Ca., where ranch owners served a buttermilk-and-herb dressing that guests loved so much they asked to take it home. That demand helped spark the creation of seasoning packets, bringing “ranch” from a small ranch kitchen to tables across the country. Decades later, it’s still one of America’s favorite ways to dip, drizzle and dunk. #America250 #HiddenValleyRanch #FlavorOfAmerica
