The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre hosts the Cheshire and Merseyside Provider Collaborative's Diagnostics Programme, which has been working hard to make sure patients can access the tests they need as quickly and conveniently as possible. Tracey Cole-Wetherill from the Diagnostics Programme spoke at NHS ConfedExpo 2026 last Thursday. She shared how the North West is now delivering the shortest diagnostic waiting times in England. Also speaking on behalf of NHS England North West, Tracey highlighted how NHS collaboration, better data and shared regional action are helping patients access diagnostic tests sooner.
