Disability rights were never given—they were fought for. ♿️✊ The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is one of the largest pieces of disability rights legislation in the United States. Our disabled siblings took to the streets, crawling up the steps of the Capitol. Able-bodied people can't be free, until disabled people are free. Today, we honor them through our fight for autonomy and power, so that those who come after us can also experience a better world.
