Last week at our Private Clubhouse in Zurich, our members joined Dr. Katia Vlachos, best-selling author, and Founder of Uncaged, for a thought-provoking conversation on the invisible patterns that can shape, and sometimes limit, even the most accomplished leaders. Drawing on her own journey from policy analyst and defence researcher to author, coach, and founder of the Uncaged movement, Katia explored the subtle ways in which inherited beliefs, external expectations, and deeply ingrained conditioning can influence how we lead, make decisions, and define success. Together, we reflected on: ๐นThe invisible โcagesโ that often hold high-achieving women back ๐นHow external success can sometimes mask internal constraints ๐นThe difference between leading from conditioning and leading from conviction ๐นWhy reconnecting with our inner authority is essential for authentic leadership ๐นWhat becomes possible when we challenge long-held assumptions about who we are and how we lead One of the most powerful themes of the evening was the idea that true leadership begins with self-awareness. Before we can lead others with authenticity and impact, we must first recognise the narratives, expectations and patterns that may no longer serve us. Thank you, Katia, for sharing your personal story, insights and wisdom with such openness, and thank you to our members for contributing to a rich and meaningful discussion. The journey to leadership is not always about acquiring more. Sometimes, it begins with letting go. #Together #WeArePowerful Diana Markaki - Bartholdi Nicki Singh Jacqueline Hess Janet Hotz Elena Papadonikolaki Caroline Herzig Michael Watkins Araceli Canedo Bebbington
