Rachel Meyer’s work has evolved beyond simple product creation. Coming from a background in industrial design and a year as an intern, Rachel is now a 3D Design Coordinator at The Bernard Group. We’re excited to share her school capstone project, which takes a deep dive into the intersection of retail merchandising and human-centric design. After winning the UMN Finalist title for the 2026 IDSA student merit award, she highlighted this project as the hero of her regional submission. In the interview, Rachel highlights the key experiences that shaped her as a designer.
