What happens when artists lose their stage, cross borders, and start over? TAP intern Olivia L. went to find out. She spent time with Chronofest, Yerevan's international contemporary theater festival, and the people behind it. The collective that created it, Chronotope, left Saint Petersburg due to the changing geopolitical landscape in the region and rebuilt their work here in Armenia. This year, for the third time, their festival filled theaters, gardens, and public spaces across the city.
