Happy Father's Day! 💙 Meet AMC's newest pet dad. When a Good Samaritan brought a limping stray kitten to AMC's ER, Licensed Veterinary Technician Hakan immediately fell in love. Our veterinarians determined that the kitten, now named Junebug, had a fractured leg. Thanks to a grant from our Fund for Hope, she received surgery to repair her leg. She even spent some time with one of our rehab residents improving her mobility! Hakan visited her multiple times before surgery and throughout her recovery, and knew he wanted her to be part of his family. The incredible rescue group Little Wanderers NYC oversaw Junebug's adoption, and Hakan was thrilled to be approved. Today, Junebug is thriving with her new family, and we couldn't be happier for them both. Happy Father's Day, Hakan! 🐾
