Today's Spotlight: Rohit Singh Verma, Executive Director and Global Head of Data and AI Practice | Nvizion Solutions | Twenty Years Early to a Problem the World Is Only Now Discovering. There are technologists who chase whatever the market is excited about that year, and there are ones who commit to a discipline long before anyone else recognises its worth. Rohit Singh Verma belongs to the second kind, and the world has spent twenty years catching up to him. He grew up in Delhi, completed a management degree from IIT Delhi and an MBA in Marketing and IT from IBS Hyderabad, and trained seriously in cricket alongside Gautam Gambhir and Amit Mishra's programme, before choosing enterprise technology as his discipline instead. He joined Tata Consultancy Services in Gurgaon in 2004 as a System Analyst, building early expertise on Informatica Power Center. When his manager pushed him toward an unfamiliar technology, Master Data Management, with no Indian case studies or experts to learn from, Rohit took it on anyway and delivered India's first MDM implementation for Deutsche Bank, resolving a single customer identity across four fragmented systems. The next decade compounded that bet. At Capgemini he expanded across SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos, Teradata, and Oracle. At Fidelity Worldwide Investment he designed the data architecture for Solvency II compliance, where non-compliance carried penalties in millions of pounds. In Singapore, as Global Principal Consultant at Vinculum Solutions, he delivered his first Cloud MDM implementation on AWS. At Sapient Razorfish, as Global MDM and Data Governance Practice Lead across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the US, he built master data programmes for McDonald's, Chevron, and Amtrak. At Coforge, he earned certification placing him among the world's top 100 Profisee-certified consultants. Since joining Nvizion Solutions in March 2024, he has been promoted twice, now serving as Executive Director and Global Head of Data and AI Practice, owning a global P&L for clients including PUMA, Coca-Cola, Mondelez, and Komatsu. Recognised as a Top 10 Chief Data Officer globally and a keynote speaker at Gartner, Forrester, and Informatica World, he now sits at the exact intersection every AI-first enterprise is scrambling to understand, where cleansing that once took months can shrink to fifteen days, but only if the architecture is right. "Every organisation is waking up to the fact that their AI is not giving the right answers. The reason is almost always the same: the data was never cleaned, never governed, never made reliable. I have been solving that problem for twenty years. The market has arrived at my door. And I have no intention of stopping." 🎯 Read the full feature in this edition of The 365 Circle: C-Suite Advantage Powered by TransCurators, The Content Factory.
