Capability matters. Scalable capability wins. ThayerMahan has officially begun Linear Hydrophone Array manufacturing at our new 5,000-square-foot production facility in Groton, Connecticut. This marks an important step forward for our team and for the domestic maritime industrial base. Linear hydrophone array manufacturing is one of the most technically demanding disciplines in undersea sensing. Bringing this capability in-house strengthens our ability to deliver passive acoustic intelligence solutions with the precision, quality, and reliability our government and commercial customers require. It also enhances supply chain resilience, accelerates design iteration, and protects the critical know-how behind the systems we build. Most importantly, this milestone reflects the work of the engineers, technicians, manufacturing specialists, and operations professionals who made it possible. Their expertise is helping scale a vital undersea capability here in southeastern Connecticut, where maritime heritage, technical talent, and mission focus run deep. As demand for persistent maritime domain awareness and undersea security grows, domestic manufacturing capacity remains essential.
