Canada is relying on the S2087 towed sonar for its future River-class destroyers. 🌊 As part of the programme led by Lockheed Martin Canada, Thales will supply this anti-submarine warfare system, designed to detect and track particularly stealthy submarines, even in complex maritime environments. Already in use with several allied navies, the S2087, a member of the sonars CAPTAS family, will enhance the Royal Canadian Navy’s anti-submarine warfare capabilities, both near the coast and on the high seas.
