Launched in July 1st 2023, #Euclid satellite aims to study dark energy and dark matter to delve deeper into what is driving the accelerating expansion of the universe. Sending to Earth wonderful images of galaxies and deep space, it is currently scanning over 35% of the sky to create the largest cosmic 3D map ever made! Euclid is a technological jewel developed by #Europe and led in its design by our teams, the same people involved today in the development of the European Space Agency - ESA’s missions #LISA, (study of gravitational waves from Space) and #ENVISION (Venus exploration), to discover new wonders of our universe!
