Last week, we said goodbye to Sentinel-3C and FLEX satellites, which set sail from the port of Nice bound for French Guiana ahead of their launch scheduled for September! Check-out this video to relive this memorable departure! Copernicus is the world’s most ambitious Earth observation program fully dedicated to environmental monitoring, managed by the European Commission and co-funded by the European Union and European Space Agency - ESA. Over the past 10 years, the Sentinel-3 satellites, developed by Thales Alenia Space, have been monitoring oceans and land surface areas as part of Copernicus. Initiated by ESA, the FLEX program (FLuorescence EXplorer) aims to measure plant fluorescence from space, covering vast territories to gain new insights into plant health and productivity on a global scale. FLEX satellite will be launched at the same time and in tandem with the Sentinel-3C spacecraft. These satellites will join forces to take global environmental monitoring to the next level! 🌍 #EarthObservation #spaceforlife European Space Agency - ESA European Commission EUMETSAT ARIANESPACE Thales Leonardo Giampiero Di Paolo Bertrand Denis YVAN BAILLION Philippe Pelouas Thierry Dumont Huiban Thierry
