Lineage is investing in the future of cold chain logistics ❄️ In Hutchins, Texas, one of the world's largest and most advanced automated refrigerated distribution centers is taking shape. The project reflects a broader industry shift: temperature-controlled warehouses are becoming critical hubs for efficiency, resilience, and service performance. To support a major U.S. grocery producer and further strengthen its cold chain network in North America, Lineage is investing in the automation of key warehouse processes. Designed for frozen and refrigerated environments down to -30°C, the solution combines shuttle technology, energy-efficient conveying, and automated pallet handling to enable high throughput, faster lead times, and improved ergonomics. 📦 As Michael Pammer, CEO Customer Unit Distributor Business at TGW Logistics, puts it: "A close collaborative relationship and shared understanding of values have united Lineage and TGW Logistics for many years. Together we continue to evolve with the goal of providing even better service for customers and consumers." In an industry facing growing complexity, competitive advantage increasingly comes from building supply chains that are not only larger, but smarter. More information in the comments. ⬇️
